A Bond of Trust Spanning Mountains and Seas: Sudanese Power Engineer Visits Hanzhong Xinsanhuan Transformer Co., Ltd. for an On-Site Inspection

With Sudan's electricity demand steadily rising in recent years, grid modernization and new energy integration projects have created a need for high-performance transformers. For this Sudanese engineer—a veteran of the power industry—the primary mission of the trip was to personally verify the quality and capabilities of "Xinsanhuan Manufacturing." He sought to witness and test every stage of the process firsthand, from raw material procurement and production techniques to final factory acceptance testing.

"We chose to come to Hanzhong because Xinsanhuan's products enjoy an excellent reputation in the African market," the engineer candidly remarked. "Seeing is believing; I wanted to witness firsthand exactly how each transformer is made."

Accompanied by the company’s general manager and technical team, the visiting delegation toured the transformer core production workshop, the final assembly workshop, and the comprehensive testing center.

• Core Workshop: A fully automated core cross-cutting line operated at high speed, with the precision of the silicon steel sheet cutting drawing frequent nods of approval from the guests;
• Final Assembly Workshop: Large overhead cranes handled lifting operations in an orderly fashion, while critical processes—such as core-and-coil assembly and vacuum drying—were executed with meticulous care;
• Testing Center: Engineers observed lightning impulse tests, temperature rise tests, and partial discharge detection on-site, highly commending the standardized manner in which test data was recorded.

During the visit, the two parties engaged in in-depth technical discussions regarding transformer heat dissipation design, insulation protection, and anti-corrosion processes tailored to Sudan's high-temperature and dusty environment. The company's technical team proposed customized product solutions based on the voltage levels and operating conditions of the Sudanese power grid; the guests praised the proposals, remarking that the approach was "highly professional and demonstrated great sincerity."

Established in 2005, Hanzhong Xinsanhuan Transformer Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the manufacture of power transformers (ranging from 10kV to 220kV), dry-type transformers, box-type substations, and complete sets of high- and low-voltage equipment. The company holds three utility model patents and four software copyrights, and has achieved certification for quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems.

Over the years, Xinsanhuan’s products have not only served numerous key national projects in China but have also been exported to overseas markets, including Africa and East Asia. Most recently, the company successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for an SF-36MVA/34.5kV power transformer destined for export, once again demonstrating the international competitiveness of "Made in Hanzhong" products.
