Technical advantages
This transformer utilizes a proprietary cold-resistant modified resin material. Following rapid thermal shock testing across a range of -40°C to +50°C, the cast coil assemblies showed no signs of cracking, delamination, or bubble formation. Combined with imported Nomex insulation paper, the unit maintains stable insulation resistance even during long-term operation in extreme cold, effectively resolving the insulation failure issues commonly encountered by traditional dry-type transformers in cold northern regions. The equipment is also equipped with an automatic anti-freeze heating system and a dual-channel temperature monitoring module: the heating system activates automatically when the internal cabinet temperature drops below 0°C to prevent frost and condensation, while cooling fans engage automatically if the windings overheat. This dual functionality addresses both winter freeze protection and summer heat dissipation needs, significantly reducing the frequency of manual maintenance required for substations in remote, high-altitude, and cold regions. We tailor specifications—including core clamping force, winding cushioning structures, and cabinet anti-freeze coating solutions—based on the extreme minimum temperatures at the project site. Each unit undergoes low-temperature cyclic aging tests before leaving the factory and holds export certifications such as CE and ISO. These transformers are widely used in wind and solar power plants in cold regions, northern mining areas, and county-level grid renovation projects, ensuring long-term, stable operation under harsh climatic conditions.
